Bright and sweet, with notes of goji berries, red apple & maple syrup.
We’re very excited to share this microlot from the Democratic Republic of Congo, an origin shaped by rich volcanic soils and remarkable biodiversity. In the cup, vibrant red apple and goji berry notes mingle with a sweet maple syrup finish, creating a layered, intriguing, and unique drinking experience.
This coffee was grown by small-scale farmers from the Amka (“Wake Up” in Swahili) and Tuinuane co-operatives under extremely challenging conditions, including drought and regional conflict. The fact that they don’t use chemical fertilizers or pesticides makes their achievement even more impressive.
