We’re excited to bring you this exceptional coffee from Vista Paraiso, one of five family farms managed by the Alvarado Fonseca family in Costa Rica’s Brunca region. This is our first coffee from the Starmaya variety, with bright acidity, a syrupy jam sweetness and a long, fruity finish, with notes of açaí and dark chocolate. The family established Corazón de Jesús wet mill in 2015 and has since become known for its experimental approach to processing and precise fermentation. Their coffees have earned numerous podium finishes at Costa Rica’s Cup of Excellence, including first place in both the washed and natural categories in 2025. Certified as a regenerative farm, Corazón de Jesús protects native forests and water sources while restoring soil health through regenerative practices.
