This Fair Trade, certified organic coffee from Peru is smooth and naturally sweet, with aromas that remind us of jam cooking on the hob. Its quality reflects the skill and dedication of Rony Lavan, president of the Lima Coffee co-op, who has spent his career championing small producers and pushing for better, more expressive coffees across Peru.
The beans in this lot were grown by smallholder farmers in Cajamarca, a semi-dry, semi-cold, tropical region in the Andean mountains with very fertile soil. Excellent conditions for producing coffees of depth and character.
