Carrow Coffee Roasters is a small, growing business based on a family farm in Beltra, Co. Sligo. We're passionate about crafting exceptional, ethically sourced specialty coffee, with beans carefully selected from small-scale producers across Africa and Latin America. We favour a light-to-medium roast profile to let each coffee’s natural character shine.
We’re looking for a Roastery Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone enthusiastic about specialty coffee and looking to grow with a values-driven business.
What You'll Do:
Pack and label roasted coffee for retail and wholesale orders
Dispatch online and wholesale shipments
Keep the roastery clean and equipment well-maintained
Support production schedules and assist in roasting preparation
Help communicate with customers and manage order logistics
Contribute to coffee events, tastings, and training sessions
Support the Head Roaster in quality control and green coffee intake
Take part in wider business operations as needed
Who You Are:
Reliable, detail-focused, and hardworking
Friendly and a good team player
Enthusiastic and proactive, with a desire to learn
Able to handle physical work and heavy lifting
Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic applications
Roasting/barista/tasting experience is a bonus
A full & clean driving license is preferred
