This is an uncommon example of a single-farm coffee from Ethiopia. Husband and wife team Gizaw and Frehiwot have 20 hectares of coffee trees on their Harenja farm in the Negele Gorbitu area. The coffee cherries are processed separately in a nearby washing station so that each cup reflects the unique conditions of this high-altitude farm. And what a cup! We find this coffee is packed full of delicious jasmine aromas and notes of peach and tangerine, with a creamy mouthfeel and long-lasting finish. A classic for filter.
